For starters, been there and done that. It was their first year and Francis Chan was worth the trip. But we haven’t been back since. Flying to Atlanta costs an arm and a ministry leg. So…what’s left?
The D6 Conference! This year our team is headed down to Dallas (drive 5 hours, affordable) to soak up some exciting concepts for ministering to the family. Even though the D6 concept seems a little familiar to the Orange concept, I’m still very excited. Part of the Orange concept comes out of the ”Family Times” that 252Basics created a few years back. And both D6 and Orange use the Deuteronomy 6 passage.
Overall, I’m really desiring some great insights on ministering to the parents and can’t wait for the shared wisdom and God-ideas.

Regardless, I cannot wait to listen to George Barna live! His passion for ministering to kids makes him a hero of mine. Plus, he authored my favorite Kid Min book, “Transforming Children Into Spiritual Champions”.
