What You Wish You Knew Before 30

picture-29Well, tomorrow is my 29th birthday, which I’m excited about only because it’s the last year to be in my 20’s. I’m ready for 30. Not sure why, it just sounds fun. Maybe it’s because I have 3 kids.

Anyway, here’s my question for you, “What do you wish you knew before you turned 30?”  What life lessons do you have to share?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on life, parenting, adulthood, marriage, love, finances, church, and well…anything else.

Congrats – Advice, have kids before you’re 30 – which you already did so way to go.

Read the book “Boundries with kids” by Henry Cloud – very good parenting help.

Never drive by a kids koolaid stand, you get as much joy as they do.

Live like today is your last, love all and there by serve the only one that matters.

I don’t know about life lessons to share…every time I think I have “it” figured out, it changes. I had a former pastor say to me look at the oak and the willow–which does better in a storm? Things that make you say hmmm:)

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY!!! BTW, I do think getting older is a great thing. We’re learning everyday, right?!?

I “forgot” your birthday, since we were out of town. You and our special girl share a birthday! Hope yours was a great birthday!!!

P.S. I just learned how to subscribe to your blog on Google reader. Thanks for sharing some of your “leg-work” with us. It’s good stuff.

    Before I turned 30 I wish I had known:
    > how quickly the years go by….which means how quickly the months, the weeks, the days, the hours go by. So enjoy and appreciate each one (even those challenging times).

    > that diapers-bottles-wakeful babies and potty-training are the easy parts.

So (now as you drag yourself into another day) you’re welcome for all that encouagement … :-)
