I have been at Rejoice Church for 6 years, and I oversee the 1st-5th grade ministry at our two campuses. Our ministry is RC Kids. Check out our website at www.rckids.net.
I am married to the most incredible woman, Pat Golightly. We have 4 children (4th one on the way!): Payton, Rhyson, Allie, and ?? who fill up our lives with joy. My favorite roles in life are that of a husband and a father. Everything else is secondary.
My weekly activities include: besides goofing off…playing with my kids, doing chores for my wife, sneaking up and scaring my co-workers, talking with ministry team leaders, recruiting team members, learning from other kid pastors, speaking in Rejoice Christian School chapels, eating Mexican food, drinking coffee, and coming up with my plan to take over the world!

What I am passionate about: My family first. And helping children develop a Biblical worldview. I get excited when I see a child’s foundation being built on Christ. And the foundation is mostly found in kids who have a solid spiritual upbringing from their parents. Because of that, I’m passionate about helping parents train up their kids. It’s all about becoming like Jesus.
What I absolutely love to do: I love speaking and preaching to just about any crowd…maybe not Jr High kids though! Besides that, I get very energized by thinking creatively and trying to innovate. My “free time” is spent playing with my kids, reading, watching movies, and staying in my God-given place called the “nothing box”, which is the place where men frequently go in their minds.
What I absolutely hate doing: Organizing!
